Production Method:

Ingredients for 4 servings of Mengen Höşmerimi: - 250 g wheat flour - 400 g clotted cream or cream - 200 ml milk - 30 g butter - 4 g salt For topping (optional): 15 g white sugar, 20 g honey, molasses, or jam

Instructions: 1. Mix milk, clotted cream or cream, and butter in a pan and let it cook until it reaches a homogeneous texture. Once the mixture starts boiling, add flour and stir slowly for about 10 minutes. 2. When the dough starts to brown, spread it evenly in the pan using a wooden spoon suitable for food contact, pressing it down. Cook for approximately 5 minutes. 3. When the bottom surface of the dough turns golden brown, flip it with a flat plate and cook the other side for another 5 minutes. 4. Serving: Place the cooked dough on a serving plate. While it's still hot, pour white sugar, honey, molasses, or jam on top according to your preference.Serve and enjoy your Mengen Höşmerimi!
